Corona downtime 🙂
Hey ya’ll
Obviously with the ‘Rona upon us all, we’ve had a lot of shows cancelled.
This has gone on waaaay longer than most people expected.
We hoped to be back in action in October – this may still happen, fingers crossed.
In the meantime we’ve launched a brand new website we hope you enjoy.
There’s blog and stories form every show in the last 3 years!
We hope that those cancelled shows will be rebooked as soon as things return to normal, whenever that may be.
We’ve been laying low working on promo ideas and this new website.
With this new slick site we hope to have a greater reach and be able to book even more shows in some newer venues for us.
We particularly have enjoyed in the past travelling to rural areas doing double header weekends (a Friday & Saturday gig) in small country towns like Orange and Parkes. And Tea Gardens & Crescent Head.
We love rural NSW audiences as they tend to appreciate the music more, probably because they’re not ‘over entertained’ like city folk who can easily see 3 bands every weekend.
I think most bands tend to find rural or country audiences really respond much more enthusiastically which makes for a great show for us!
We also get to hang out together and seek out the best country town bakery’s and cafes and also party in the motel rooms after the shows without a big drive home.
This is what we miss during these crazy ‘Rona times.
We can’t wait to hit the road again hopefully in summer time and share genius of the Finn Brothers catalogue whilst being as silly and as entertaining as we can.
